Welcome to the world

ABOUT THE USE OF THIS BLOG

LET ME EXPLAIN THE PURPOSE OF THIS BLOG. THIS IS AN OLD BLOG AND IT HAS GOT MANY USEFUL LINKS IN IT THAT WE WILL CONTINUE TO USE, WHEN WE VISIT THE BLOG. BUT TODAY WE WANT TO USE IT MAINLY TO WRITE A DIARY OF THE LIFE OF A NEW BORN BABY, WHENEVER THERE ARE THINGS TO SAY ABOUT IT. BECAUSE BLOGS NEED TO BE ACTIVE TO ATRACT VISOTORS, WE WILL ALSO WRITE AN OLD MAN LIFE STORY, WHICH ONE DAY COULD BE USED TO COMPARE IT WITH THE NEW BORN BABY, YOU SEE TODAY THINGS CHANGE VERY QUICKLY AND IT COULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE THE GREAT DIFFERENCE LATER. WE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO COLLECT OTHER LINKS LIKE BABY SONGS TO MAKE IT MORE BABY FRIENDLY.

The best way how to use this blog. To access personal site from same author, click of the picture above, to access some You-tube nursery songs click on the links below. You can also link to other sites; just click on any links that you find in this blog.

HERE I WANT TO ADD THAT EVERYBODY IS WELCOME, SO, FEEL FREE TO USE THE LINKS WITHIN THIS BLOG

Australia inland faces another crisis this Christmas.
Emergency crews ready for Christmas floods

More than 200 millimetres of rain is expected in parts of New South Wales. (ABC News)

The State Emergency Service says it expects Bourke, in north-western NSW, to be one of the first towns affected by the predicted heavy rain and floods.

The Bureau of Meteorology says rain and thunderstorms are likely across most of the state today and heavier rain, causing flash flooding is likely this evening.

The bureau is expecting more than 200 millimetres to fall between Bourke and Bathurst today and on Boxing Day.

A flood watch has been issued for the Castlereagh, Bogan, Lower Namoi, Lower Macquarie, Barwon, Paroo and Warrego rivers.

Residents are being warned to stay clear of creeks, storm drains and causeways.

SES Far West region controller Graeme Craig says based on the weather forecast, Bourke could initially experience minor flash flooding.

"There is a risk with that amount of rain that there could be some minor flooding inside the levee," he said.

"I don't expect the river to actually come into play in the early stages of this operation.

"There's not a great deal that we can do pre-emptively and proactively to mitigate the risk of the water coming into these properties on the basis that that water could actually accumulate in any area within the shire."

There are 100 SES volunteers on standby to help respond to the predicted flooding.

SES commissioner Murray Kear says the volunteers are well prepared.

"A line between Bourke and Bathurst is the area the SES is planning for," he said.

"We have 100 volunteers ready to mobilise on Christmas afternoon to move to those areas predominantly north of Dubbo to assist local volunteers in preparing for and responding to this flood event."

The National Parks and Wildlife Service is urging people to avoid back-country travel until conditions improve.

HELP PLANET EARTH! 3

THIS BLOG HAS BEEN OPENED TO HOUSE ALL SORTS OF ISSUES ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGES, IT IS OPEN FOR DISCUSSION TO THE PUBLIC, SO ANYBODY CAN ADD SOMETHING TO IT, IF AND WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY.
IT WILL FEATURE WHAT IS BEING SAID AND ACHIEVED IN THE PUBLIC NEWS, ALSO WE WILL ADD OUR POINT OF VIEW AND HOPE TO SAY THE RIGHT THINGS?

Help Planet Earth
Global warming; are we doing enough to help the planet?

If today's news is anything to go by, we are far from solving this man made problem.

After some ugly demonstrations negotiations have resumed:

It's up to the bosses now. Years of international gatherings – from Bali to Bangkok to Bonn. Nine raucous, angry and confusing days cooped up in the windowless halls of Copenhagen's biggest conference site. The protesters in polar bear suits. The countless appeals for action – and the forecasts of the life-altering consequences of global warming if world leaders fail to come to a firm deal. It all comes down to the next 36 hours.

As more than 115 world leaders descend on Copenhagen to make the crucial decisions, what can we expect? Nobody really knows.

By 6pm last night, negotiators had produced a text so dense and unwieldy that the Danish prime minister, Lars Lokke Rasmussen, called in negotiators from the larger countries to help knock it into "laymen's terms for politicians". If they succeed, the main issues looming for leaders on Friday will be as follows.

I suppose we just have to wait and see if they will reach an agreement?

TO BECONTINUED;

Global Warming Reconciliation 2

Help Planet Earth

Today news on Global warming

AUSTRALIA faces having to make a hefty payout to help developing countries such as China and India cope with climate change in order to clinch a deal in Copenhagen.
Despite Australia facing a domestic Budget deficit of about $50 billion for the coming year, Climate Change Minister Penny Wong told The Sunday Mail from Copenhagen that Australia would have to contribute to so-called climate "abatement" funds if India and China were to come into the climate-change tent.
Reports from Copenhagen say industrialised countries favour a target of 50 per cent reduction of global carbon emissions by 2020 (compared with 1990 levels), but major emerging economies led by China have baulked at any such target unless it is made clear that rich countries will assume most of the burden.

I think we need to do more ourselves and Help Planet Earth
I think that it would not be fair for Australia to help China or India.
I don't know how people can even think about this?
To help China or India is impossible, because China and India are so vast and both have the largest population on earth.
So I hope that they think about something else on how to get China and India motivated.

Global Warming Reconciliation by Frank@yahoo

THIS BLOG HAS BEEN CREATED TO INVITE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO TAKE PART IN USEFUL DISCUSSIONS, WHICH COULD HELP SOLVE FUTURE MAN MADE NATURAL DISASTERS.
YOU ARE ALL INVITED!

Mother Nature Reconciliation, from Frank@yahoo

Hello everybody!

HELP PLANET EARTH!

Congratulations Manfraco you have started a blog, which should be able to interest all the people on this planet earth. So maybe this is the right way to go, I am very interested about this subject, so, I am going to follow it closely and post many posts, as it is very important for the whole world to take part in discussions about the changes that are happening to our environment. So, let us hope that someone is interested to discuss these issues openly, so that we may have a feedback from the public. Anyhow we just have to wait and see what happens?
I like those photos that you posted, I will be looking for something like that when I post next time here.

Mother Nature Reconciliation
WE ALL LOVE MOTHER NATURE
We must love Mother Nature because we are part of her, if we did not love her then we would not be able to love ourselves, because Mother Nature is every living thing, and this includes us most of all.
But we should never forget to Help Planet Earth

MOTHER NATURE CHALLENGE
Nowadays, we the people of this earth are taking great risks, we are doing so many things that are harming Mother Nature, so, if we are not careful we will soon pay dearly, because we are damaging many things whereby mother nature could have been able to make good again the damage we have done.

This is how the whole planet earth could be like?
If we care about our-self and the coming generations we need do something positive to help this harmful situation, don't you agree?

GLOBAL WARMING
Global warming is the name that should make us think hard what we are doing to this planet, we need to pay more attention to everything that harms the natural environment.
You might say that something is being done, since there will be a meeting of world leaders soon: but I would like to see more interest from the people themselves, after all democratic leaders have to follow the people to get voted in.

Today news:

'Secret' deal leak exposes divisions at Copenhagen climate talks
• Lenore Taylor, Copenhagen
• From: The Australian
• December 09, 2009 7:45AM

UNDERLYING tensions between rich and poor nations at the Copenhagen climate negotiations have boiled to the surface with the leaking of a "secret" draft agreement prepared by the Danish host government and a select "circle of commitment" including Kevin Rudd.
The leaked document rocked the United Nations conference as it settled down to its first full day of talks, with developing countries expressing outrage at its contents, and at the fact that it had been developed behind closed doors by the so-called “friends” of the Danish conference chair, Mr Rudd, UN secretary Ban Ki Moon and leaders from other countries including the UK, Sweden, Mexico.
The Danish Government protested that there was no “secret draft for a new Copenhagen Agreement” but rather “many working papers used for testing various positions”.
Privately negotiators were furious that developing nations had resorted to such a “hostile act” because they were nervous about possible outcomes in a final climate deal.
Start of sidebar. Skip to end of sidebar.
End of sidebar. Return to start of sidebar.
But despite the hosts' attempts to hose down the leak, it has ignited tensions that were not expected to spark until the top-level leaders segment of the talks next week.
Despite all the controversy, the draft “Copenhagen Agreement” contains many elements of a strong political deal, although it leaves blank critical emission reduction commitments and the amounts to be paid into new funding for developing countries for final determination.

This is only part of the report.
As we all can see from this it is not going to be an easy task for the world leaders. We can only hope that before the meeting ends they agree on something useful, which could help achieve at least part of the problem?
